November's Autumn: A Mid-Morning Walk

A Mid-Morning Walk

One thing about May is the places you've been to are transformed with flowers and the trees are budding or back in full bloom, depending on our ever changing weather. And best of all there's more daylight again!

Thou shalt, at one glance, behold
The daisy and the marigold;
White-plum'd lillies, and the first
Hedge-grown primrose that hath burst;
Shaded hyacinth, always
Sapphire queen of the mid-May;
And every leaf, and every flower
Pearled with the self-same shower.
