I Have Been Meme

This was featured by Allie at A Literary Odyssey, it originally appeared at Elinor, Elizabeth, and Emma

{Writing}
An idea that's tumbled around my thoughts for awhile. It's a series of vignettes linked by a common theme. It's been a few weeks since I've worked on them though.

{Reading}
A Man Could Stand Up--, book III of Parade's End by Ford Madox Ford

{Looking}
Lingering Autumn, John Everett Millais

{Listening}
Jesse Cook, Bogota by Bus
Elbow, Mirrorball
Hercules and Love Affair, Blind
Pergolesi, Stabat Mater

{Watching}
The other week I watched the 1st season of The Hour, fabulous screenplay, my favorite character is the rather fearless and passionate Freddie, portrayed by Ben Whishaw. Re-watched some of The House of Elliott's 1st season and Charade.

{Learning}
Recently started Latin, I found a wonderful series of videos on YouTube and am taking notes, practicing, and getting books from the library. Also brushing up on math and reading about WWI.

{Feeling}
Relaxed

{Anticipating}
Going to McCaw Hall later this month to watch Kent Stowell's Cinderella.

{Wishing}
Travelling to England with my mother and visiting all of my favorite authors' homes and haunts, going to as many museums and galleries as possible, seeing a play at the Old Vic, a treat at Fortnum and Mason, visiting the Persephone Bookshop... etc.
Studying at College & University, ideally art history, literature, or languages

{Loving}
Being at home, the freshness of the air today...

@Jillian: Thanks for finding this gem of a meme, it was fun.

@Ao Bibliophile: Off to go read yours.

@Heartfelt: Thank you! :)

@Elisa: Jesse Cook is one of my favorite contemporary musicians. I recently heard that piece by Brahms on the radio, it was performed on the piano but when I found this version with the strings-- it's so moving! He's wonderful but my favorite Classical composer is Chopin.

@Caroline: I'm still very much a beginner in Latin. Just started last week. Off to go read yours too. :)
